Rewaa provides a central interface for managing all sales registers added to the platform. You can view detailed information for each register, including opening and closing times, user names, collected amounts by payment method, and more. Below are the detailed instructions for using the Sales Registers Management feature.

Accessing Cash Management

  1. Navigate to Sales & Customers > Cash Management.

  2. View all sales registers and their statuses.

Sales Register Statuses

1. Open: The register is currently open by the main account or a user account. Detailed information is unavailable while the register is open.

2. Balanced: The register is closed, and the amounts entered by the employee match the amounts recorded by the platform.

  • Recorded amounts are based on all transactions performed from the time the register was opened until it was closed.

3. Unbalanced: The register is closed, but the amounts entered by the employee do not match the recorded amounts.

  • This status is for monitoring purposes and does not affect total sales.

Printing a Sales Register Closure Report

You can print the closure report either immediately upon closing the register or later from the Cash Management section:

  • Go to Sales & Customers > Cash Management.

  • Click the 👁️ icon next to the register for details.

  • Click 🖨️ Print Report at the bottom of the page and follow the printing steps.

Exporting Sales Register Data to Excel

  1. Click the Export option on the right side of the screen.

  2. The data is exported directly into an Excel file.

Session Invoices

Session invoices are all invoices issued during a register session (from opening to closing).

  • Click the 👁️ icon next to the desired register.

  • Select Session Invoices to see all invoices.

  • Click on an invoice for more details.

Register Summary

  • Click the 👁️ icon next to the desired register

  • The register summary displays the total collected amounts during the session, from opening to closing.


FAQ

1. I entered the correct amount, but the register appears as unbalanced. Why?
The amounts must match 100%. Even minor discrepancies in rounding (e.g., halalas) will result in the register being marked as unbalanced.

2. Should I include the opening amount (float) when closing the register?
Yes, the remaining float amount must be added to the total cash sales to balance the register.

3. Can I modify register amounts or statuses after closing the register?
No, once a register is closed, its amounts and status cannot be edited.

4. How are amounts calculated for a register?
Amounts are calculated based on all transactions performed from the time the register was opened until it was closed.

5. Can I set specific times for opening and closing registers daily?
This feature is not currently available. Suggestions can be submitted via the suggestion platform.

6. Can multiple registers be open simultaneously?
Yes, if multiple registers are added, each user can open their designated register and start transactions.

7. Can the same register be opened on multiple devices?
No, a register cannot be opened on multiple devices simultaneously. If accessed on another device, a warning will appear indicating it is already open elsewhere.

8. Can I restrict users’ access to the Sales Registers Management section?
Yes, navigate to

  • Settings > Users > ⚙️ > Edit User

  • Navigate to: Permissions > Applications > Rewaa New POS

  • Disable the Cash Management permission. The option will not be visible to the user.

9. Can I view amounts added or withdrawn from registers?
Yes, all transactions are recorded and visible upon register closure:

  • Click the 👁️ icon next to the register.

  • Click the: Register Summary.

  • View the Opening Amount, Total Added and Total Withdrawn amounts.

  • For details, select Add/Withdraw Transactions.

10. What do “Entered Amount,” “Expected Amount,” and “Difference” mean?

  • Expected Amount: The platform’s calculated total based on all transactions performed during the session.

  • Counted Amount: The amount entered by the employee during register closure.

  • Difference: The discrepancy between the entered and expected amounts, displayed for unbalanced registers.

11. I manage multiple locations. Can I view register details for one location only?
Yes, use the Filter option next to "Location" to select the desired location.

ℹ️ You can also filter by register name, user name, date, or status for more specific details.
