Adding the Salesman Name to Invoices

Rewaa provides the option to add the salesman name (sales representative) to invoices. This feature allows you to track sales by each salesman, enabling the system to calculate total sales for each representative individually.

Steps to Add the Salesman Name to Invoices

1. Add Salesman Details to the Platform

  • Navigate to: Settings > Users > Add New User.

  • Fill in the following details:

    • Username: Salesman's name.

    • Mobile Number (optional): Recommended for easier communication.

    • Email Address: A valid email address not previously registered on the platform.

    • Location: Assign the salesman to a branch.

    • Password: Set a password (can be temporary for the user to change later).

ℹ️ Adding a Salesman to an Invoice does not require them to log into the platform. However, if the salesman has other tasks that require platform access, they can log in using the email and password set up in the previous steps.

  • Assign user permissions:

    • No specific permissions are required for salesmen unless they have other roles.

    • For cashier permissions, go to:

      • Select Custom under permissions.

  • Expand Applications > Rewaa New POS > Cashier.

  • Click: Add new user.

2. Enable the Salesman Option

  • Navigate to: Sales & Customers > Sales Settings > Sales.

  • Enable the Salesman option and click Save.

  • Go to Sales Receipts, check the Salesman option.

  • Click Save.

  • In the sales Screen:

    • Select the salesman's name from the list on the right side of the screen.

  • Proceed with issuing the invoice, and the salesman's name will appear on it.


FAQ

1. What is the difference between the username and the salesman's name?

  • Username: The account that opens the register and performs sales, appearing by default on invoices issued from this account.

  • Salesman's Name: Specifically added to an invoice and can be changed for each one.

2. Can the salesman's name be fixed on all invoices?

No, the salesman must be selected for each invoice.

3. Can the salesman's name be changed before issuing an invoice?

Yes, click the salesman's name and select a different one from the list.

4. How can I view the total sales for each salesman?

  • From the Home Page:

    • Check the graph and select Salesmans to view the total sales for each one, including the highest seller.

ℹ️ Sales figures include returns deductions

  • Example: Nora's sales for the month totaled 1918.00 SAR. A product worth 40.00 SAR was returned, so the sales amount displayed here is 1878.00 SAR after deducting the return value.

  • From Reports:

    • Navigate to: Reports > Sales > Sales by User.

  • Filter results as needed; salesman are listed under Salesman in the job column.
