The homepage gives you a comprehensive overview of your business performance, making it easier to monitor your sales and make smart financial decisions to ensure your business's success and continuity. Through the homepage, you can track sales performance, monitor net income, and access various data and analytics related to sales. This article explains the sales-related features available on the homepage.

Accessing the Homepage

To access the homepage:

  • Click the first option from the sidebar to open the homepage with all its details.

Filtering Data

  • Filter by Branch

You can filter data by branch: Single branch, Multiple branches, All branches.

ℹ️ Filtering by branch does not apply to: Recent sales, Activity log, POS.

  • Filter by Time Period

Select a time period for the data displayed: One day, One week, One month.

ℹ️ A custom range (up to three months maximum)

ℹ️ Filtering by time period does not apply to: Inventory value, Recent sales, Activity log, POS.

Details Available on the Homepage

1. Overview

  • Sales:
    The total sales (including tax) for the selected time period, with the ability to compare with last month's sales and set monthly targets.

ℹ️ Tracking and comparing sales with the previous month helps in evaluating performance and making informed decisions.

  • Sales Transactions:
    Total sales invoices for the selected period, excluding return invoices.
    Example: If you issue 7 invoices and 1 is returned, the total transactions displayed will be 7.

ℹ️ Monitoring the number of transactions helps in quickly assessing sales performance.

  • Net Income:
    Sales revenue minus costs (costs include: cost of goods sold, expenses, and inventory losses).

⚠️ For services or products with disabled inventory management, net income may not be calculated correctly due to missing product costs.

ℹ️ Knowing your net income helps you understand the remaining balance.

ℹ️ Disabling stock management indicates the item has no quantity or cost associated with it. For more details, click here

2. Graphs

Hover over the chart to view details based on the selected time period and branches.

  • Sales by Day:
    Shows sales values for each day, the highest-selling days, and details such as:

    • Date

    • Sales Amount(including tax)

    • Returns Amount

    • Number of sales

ℹ️ The sales value and number of transactions displayed here do not deduct returns.

Example:

  • Sales Amount: 4,702.50 SAR

  • No. of sales: 7

  • Returns Amount: 147 SAR

  • Returns appear when you hover over the chart, but they are not deducted from the total sales displayed in the graph.

  • Sales by Product:
    Displays top-selling products with details like:

    • Product name

    • Sales Amount(including tax)

    • Number of sales

    • Remaining Inventory

ℹ️ The sales Amount displayed here is after deducting returns.

Example:

  • A product priced at SAR 46.95, including tax, was sold 44 times, totaling SAR 2,065.8.

  • 4 items were returned, so the sales amount after deducting the returned items is SAR 1,878, including tax, with 40 total transactions.

  • Sales by Category:
    Shows top-selling categories with details:

    • Category name

    • Sales Amount(including tax)

Example:

  • Category sales: 2,065.8 SAR

  • Returns: 187.8 SAR → Updated value: 1878.00 SAR.

  • Sales by Branch:
    Displays the highest-performing branches with details:

    • Branch name

    • Sales Amount(including tax)

    • Inventory value

ℹ️ The sales amount displayed here does not deduct returns.

Example:

  • Branch sales amount: 3,102.50 SAR

  • Returns: 100 SAR → Sales value remains 3,102.50 SAR.

  • Sales by Salesmen:
    Shows sales for each representative with details:

    • Salesman name

    • Sales Amount (including tax)

FAQs

1. Can I track the homepage from the Rewaa mobile app?

Yes, you can access the homepage details via the POS app. Log in using your Rewaa email and password.

2. Does net income on the homepage reflect Journal Entries when using the accounting app?

No, Journal Entries will not affect net income or other figures on the platform.

3. Why is the "Sales by salesmen" graph empty despite having employees issuing invoices?

This section is specific to sales salesmen. Enable this feature on the platform and assign the representative’s name to invoices during sales to ensure accurate data. For more details, click here.

4. Can I view inventory value for a specific past date?

No, inventory value reflects the current stock value (quantity × cost per item) and cannot be backdated.

5. Can I restrict user access to the homepage?

Yes, go to:

  • Settings > Users> ⚙️ > Edit User> User Permissions > Dashboard

  • Enable or restrict access based on your preferences.

6. The net income value is incorrect. How can I review product costs?

To verify the cost of goods sold:

  • Select the time period you want to review.

  • Go to Reports > Inventory > Sales by Product.

  • Match the selected period with the homepage data to review product costs in the designated column.
