Rewaa provides three methods for using the Rewaa Pay service, allowing you to select the one that best fits your business needs. You can use it to accept payments with a Rewaa application on standard POS terminals, as a digital POS terminal (Soft POS) without integration with the platform, or as a Soft POS terminal integrated with the platform. This guide details how to use the service with a digital POS terminal without platform integration.
Downloading the Payments App
Download the Rewaa Pay app on any Android device with NFC (Near Field Communication) technology to transform it into a digital POS terminal (Soft POS). Payments are processed by tapping the customer's card or smartphone on the payment device.
Usage Steps
Open the App:
After downloading the app, open it and click Start Here.
Log In:
Enter the phone number you registered with when subscribing to Rewaa Pay and click Log In.
Enter the Verification Code:
Input the verification code sent to your phone in the designated field and click Verify.
Select a Payment Point:
All payment points you subscribed to will be displayed.
Select the desired payment point and click CONNECT.
ℹ️ Each payment point can only be used on one device at a time.
Create an Access PIN:
Set a 6-digit PIN to enhance security.
The PIN is required to access the app.
Process Payments:
Once the setup is complete, the app will display the payment screen.
Enter the amount and click Purchase now.
Ask the customer to tap their bank card or smartphone to complete the payment.
Payment Confirmation:
A checkmark and the word “Approved” will appear, indicating the payment was successful.
Viewing Payment Receipts
Access Receipts:
Click on RECEIPT to view the payment receipt.
Customer Copy:
The receipt will display a QR code that the customer can scan to keep a copy.
Reconciliation Steps
Start Reconciliation:
Click the three lines in the top-left corner of the screen.
Select Not Reconciled.
Input the admin code 0000.
Complete Reconciliation:
All pending transactions will appear.
Drag the green slider to reconcile transactions.
View Reconciliation Details:
Once completed, navigate to the Reconciliation Completed page.
Click Details to review the specifics.
