This enables you to make informed decisions regarding product purchases from suppliers, adjusting selling prices, organizing promotions, and identify peak customer seasons. The Sales by Time Period Report provides a comprehensive overview of your sales, including graphical representations of sales trends and top-selling products, as well as detailed tables of all sales during a specific period.
Accessing the Sales by Time Period Report
Navigate to: Reports > Sales > Sales by Time Period.
You can filter the report using the following fields:
Start Date / End Date: Specify the time period for the report.
Invoice Number / Product Name: Find specific transactions or products.
Barcode (SKU): Search by product identifier.
Location Name: Select the specific branch.
Report Insights
The report offers the following details:
Cost of Goods Sold: Direct cost of the sold products.
Sales (Inclusive of Tax): Total sales invoices, minus returns and discounts, inclusive of tax.
Sales (Tax Inclusive): Total sales invoices, minus returns and discounts, exclusive of tax.
Number of Invoices: Total number of sales and return invoices.
Sales Tax: Total tax collected on sales.
Gross Margin: Sales (exclusive of tax) minus COGS.
Sold Quantity: Total number of products sold without deducting returns.
Return Quantity: Total number of products returned.
Chart: Displays sales excluding VAT for the selected time period.

Click the three dots in the top-right corner of any section.
Select xlsx to download the report as an Excel file.

E-commerce sales appear under the branch linked to the e-commerce platform. For example, if an e-commerce store is linked to the Riyadh branch, its sales will be reflected in the Riyadh branch's data.

Under User Permissions, navigate to Reports > Report List > Enable Read.
Navigate to Sales Reports.
Go to the Sales By Time Period, then enable the appropriate permissions for the user.
Click Save Custom User to apply the changes.
