The Stock Count Summary Report provides insights into product quantities, helping you monitor stock-taking activities for each product across specified periods or locations. This report is essential for tracking the effect of stock counts on available inventory levels and ensuring accurate inventory management.

Accessing the Report

  • Navigate to:
    Reports > Stock Control > Stock Count Summary.

  • Search for stock count data by:

    • Product name

    • SKU

    • Location.

  • Use the filter option to refine results by date range or other criteria.

Report Details

The report comprises two main sections:

  1. Header Section: Displays company name, report title, and selected time frame.

  2. Detailed Section: Shows all stock count activities within the specified period.

Key data points include:

  • Location: Branch where the product is stored.

  • SKU: Unique identifier for the product.

  • Product Name: Name of the product in inventory.

  • Available Quantity: Quantity in inventory before the stock count.

  • Counted: Actual quantity counted during stock-taking.

  • Difference: Difference between recorded and counted quantities.

  • Gain/Loss: Cost value of the variance.

  • Date: Date and time of the stock count.

Exporting the Report

To export the report:

  1. Click Export and select xlsx.

  2. The file will download to your device.

1. Can I print the report directly from the platform?

No, direct printing is unavailable. You can export the report as an Excel file and print it from your device.

2. How do I search for stock counts of specific products?

Use the filter option to search by product name or SKU in the designated column. Enter the desired details in the appropriate fields and apply the filter to view the results.

3. How can I view more results on one page?

Adjust the results per page setting at the bottom of the table to display up to 200 entries. Navigate between pages using the page numbers or arrows.

4. How can I find the available quantity before a stock count?

  • Click on the filter field, enter the product name, select the desired time period, and click Apply.

  • The search results display stock count operations. You can check the available stock quantity in the Available Quantity column and view the date in the Stock Count Date column.

5. Can I export a customized report for a specific product's stock count?

Yes. Filter the results to your desired criteria, Click Export, and select xlsx.

6. Why does one SKU show multiple product names?

  • This may occur due to:

    • Product name changes: If the product name was changed after a stock count.

    • Deleted and re-added products: If a product was deleted and later re-added with the same SKU but a different name.

7. Can I restrict user access to this report?

Yes. Navigate to:

  • Settings > Users > ⚙️ > Edit User.

  • Disable Read and Export permission under Reports > Stock Control Reports > Stock Count Summary.

  • Click Save Custom User to apply the settings.

    When a user accesses their account, reports will be displayed based on the assigned permissions.
