Using the Rewaa Cashier app, you can issue sales invoices with various payment methods in compliance with the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority's requirements. Whether you need simplified tax invoices (B2C) or full tax invoices (B2B), the process is straightforward. Below are the detailed steps.

Steps to Issue an Invoice

  • Log In:
    Log in to the Rewaa Cashier app using the main account or a user account.

  • Select a Cash Register:
    Tap on the cash register you want to use for issuing invoices.

  • Enter the Opening Balance (Optional):

    • Input the float amount at the start of the day, if applicable.

    • Tap Open.

    • ℹ️ This amount is used for tasks like providing change to customers.

  • Add Products to the Sales Screen:

    • Option 1: Search for the product name or SKU in the search bar. Tap the product name to add it to the sales screen.

    • Option 2: Select a category from the category bar and tap the product name to add it to the sales screen.

ℹ️ Categories appear when using the image-based sales interface.

  • Add Customer Name (Optional):

    • All Methods > Add Customer.

  • Select a customer from the list or tap (+) to add a new customer. Save the entry.

⚠️ Ensure the "Customer Name" option is enabled in the platform under: POS > Settings > Sales Receipts > Check "Customer Name." Save your changes.

  • Select Payment Method:

    • Choose the payment method to issue and print the invoice.

    • ℹ️ Available payment methods depend on those enabled for the cash register.

  • Issue Invoice Without a Customer Name:

    • Tap the default payment method on the right of the screen.

    • Tap Pay.

    • The invoice is issued and ready for printing.

Issuing Credit Sales Invoices

  • Add products to the sales screen. Tap ِAll Methods.

  • Tap Add Customer.

  • Select an existing customer or add a new one. Save the entry.

  • Tap Post Pay.

  • The invoice is issued and can be printed or shared with the customer.

Settling Credit Sales Invoices

  • Go to Invoice List > Select the invoice to settle.

    • ℹ️ Ensure the cash register is open to access invoices.

  • Tap Receive Debit.

  • Choose a payment method.

  • Enter the amount paid in the designated field and tap Pay.

  • The payment is documented, and the invoice is marked as settled.

  1. Can I delete or edit a sales invoice after issuing it?

    • No, sales invoices cannot be deleted or edited due to Zakat and Tax Authority regulations. If there's an error, you must return the invoice and issue a new one with the correct details.

  2. Can I add notes to an invoice?

    • The app does not support adding notes to invoices. You can add static notes to all invoices via the platform (browser). Learn more here .

  12. Can I settle credit invoices from a different register?

    • Yes, credit invoices can be settled from any register.

  13. Can partial payments be made for credit invoices?

    • Yes, enter the amount paid in the designated field, and the balance will be updated accordingly.

  14. Can I view postpaid payments that were collected during the month?
    Yes, you can. On the platform (web browser), go to: Reports > Sales > Customer Movement > Select Transaction Type (Customers Receive Debit) > Select the desired date range.

  15. Can I check the outstanding amounts for a customer?
    You can view the outstanding amounts for a customer on the platform (web browser). Go to: Reports > Sales > Customer Debit Lifetime > Select the customer’s name. All related payment details will be displayed.
