The Cause
On certain devices (especially Xiaomi, Redmi, and POCO running MIUI or HyperOS), the system's background battery manager forcefully kills or freezes background services to save battery.
When this happens, the Android system stops RewardBox's accessibility service from communicating in the background, but fails to update the status toggle in your phone's Settings menu. As a result, your phone Settings show Accessibility as "On," but the service is actually frozen and inactive.
How to Fix It (Resetting the Permission)
To fix this issue and resume earning, you need to manually toggle the setting off and back on to force the system to restart the service.
Toggle Accessibility Off and On:
Go to Settings > Additional Settings > Accessibility > Downloaded Apps / Installed Services.
Select RewardBox.
Turn the switch OFF.
Wait 3–5 seconds, then turn the switch ON again.
Re-open RewardBox:
Launch the RewardBox app. The accessibility status should now reflect as active, and background earning will resume.
If the issue persists, ensure your device software and RewardBox app is up to date or contact support for further assistance.
