3 ways to download
We've gone the extra mile to ensure sharing your resume is simple, offering you not just one, but three different ways to download.
PDF (available on all templates)
DOCX (available on some templates)
Google Drive (available on some templates)
1. Download PDF
Sharing your resume as a PDF is one of the most effective and widely recommended options. It helps preserve ATS compatibility, making your resume easy for applicant tracking systems to scan.
A PDF also preserves your formatting, ensuring your resume looks polished and professional across devices and when printed, leaving a strong impression on potential employers.
To download your resume as a PDF file, navigate to your Rezi dashboard and open the resume you want to download.
Go to the “Finish Up & Preview” tab and click the ‘Download PDF’ button above your resume.
Your file is ready to be shared as a PDF file.
2. Download DOCX
Downloading your resume as a DOCX file is the best option if you want the flexibility to make last-minute edits in Microsoft Word or Google Docs. It allows you to easily customize and fine-tune your resume for each job application.
If you're the kind of person who likes to fine-tune every detail, the DOCX option is perfect for you.
To download your resume as a DOCX file, navigate to your Rezi dashboard and open the resume you want to download.
Go to the “Finish Up & Preview” tab, click the arrow-down icon next to the ‘Download’ button above your resume, and select “Download .DOCX” to export it as a DOCX file.
Your file is ready to be shared as a DOCX file.
3. Save to Drive
Rezi makes it easy to export your resume directly to your Google Drive. This is a great option if you prefer editing your resume in Google Docs, allowing you to make quick updates and collaborate with ease.
Plus, storing your resume in the cloud ensures it's accessible from anywhere, providing ultimate convenience for your job search.
To save your resume to your Google Drive, navigate to your Rezi dashboard and open the resume you want to download.
Go to the “Finish Up & Preview” tab, click the arrow-down icon next to the ‘Download’ button above your resume, and select “Save to Drive”.
Sign in to your Google account and grant access permission to Rezi.
The DOCX file of your resume will be saved in your Google Drive.
FAQs
What is the best resume format?
We highly recommend downloading your resume as a PDF, as it preserves your formatting exactly as intended. Unlike formats such as DOCX, which may display differently depending on the software or version used, a PDF ensures your resume looks polished and professional, so employers see it exactly as you designed it.
How many times can I download my resume?
Free plan users receive 3 PDF download credits. If you need unlimited downloads and full access to Rezi's AI-powered features, we recommend upgrading to Rezi Pro.
Are all file formats available for download?
Not all templates support every download format. The available file formats depend on the template you've selected. To see which formats are supported, open the Templates tab, where download compatibility is listed for each template.
