Once you've created your RFMS fundraiser, the next step is to start inviting others to join in on the fun.
Both Event Administrators as well as Team Leaders have the ability to invite others to your RFMS fundraiser.
Event Administrator - can invite team leaders as well as readers to teams setup in the fundraiser.
Team Leaders - can invite readers to the team that they are managing.
To send invitations:
- Go to your Teams page
- From your Teams page, click on the INVITE button
- You have two way to invite supporters to your fundraiser (copy link or email).
If you copy your invite link, you can choose your own method of reaching out to your supporters to join.
If you send by email, RFMS will send out a custom invitation. All you need to do is to insert the email addresses and a personal message and RFMS will do the rest.
Tip: Make sure your teams are setup and ready to go before your fundraiser starts. This is a good way to make sure all teams are starting their reading challenge at the same time.
IMPORTANT: Payment setup with Stripe is required BEFORE you are able to invite others to join. Please make sure that you connect and create your Stripe account before inviting others to join.
