If you have never edited your YouTube channel URL, you are using the standard URL given by YouTube. The standard URL uses your unique channel ID which is comprised of a series of numbers and letters. A custom URL is easy to remember for both you and your audience, it will appear as youtube.com/yourcustomname or youtube.com/c/yourcustomname. It can be based on your brand, channel name or whatever else you see fit. In order to be eligible for this update, your channel must:
Have 100+ subscribers
Be at least 30 days old
Have an uploaded profile picture
Have an uploaded banner image
