⚑ Top Up Your Lightning Wallet

Your Lightning Wallet is separate from your regular Bitcoin wallet. To send Lightning payments (such as paying invoices), you’ll need to ensure your Lightning balance is funded.

πŸ” 1. From Your Rhino BTC Wallet

If you already hold Bitcoin in your Rhino BTC Wallet:

  • You can quickly move funds to your Lightning Wallet directly within the app

  • This is the fastest way to top up and start spending over the Lightning Network

🌐 2. From Another BTC Wallet (On-Chain Transfer)

You can send Bitcoin from any external wallet to fund your Lightning Wallet via an on-chain transaction.

Steps:

  1. Go to the Spend tab

  2. Tap Pay with Lightning

  3. Select Top Up with BTC

  4. Copy or scan the wallet address

  5. Send BTC from your external wallet

Once confirmed on-chain, your Lightning balance will be credited.

⚑ 3. From Another Lightning Wallet

Request a Lightning payment from another Lightning user to top up instantly.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to the Spend tab

  2. Select Create Invoice

  3. Tap Generate QR

  4. Share the QR code or invoice string with the sender

  5. Once paid, your Lightning balance will update immediately
