📲 Not Receiving “Sign Your Timecard” Text Alerts? Try These Steps

If you’re set up to receive text alerts from Rhumbix but aren’t receiving the “Sign your timecard” notifications, here are a few quick checks you can follow.

✅ Step 1: Confirm Your Phone Number & Alert Settings

Please make sure the team member's:

  • The phone number in Rhumbix is correct.

  • The Text Alerts setting is set to Yes.

  • They have not previously replied STOP to Rhumbix messages (this opts you out automatically).

If you're unsure, your Rhumbix admin can verify your settings.

📡 Step 2: Confirm Messages Are Being Sent

Rhumbix sends messages using registered business SMS numbers. If your admin has confirmed that messages show as Sent or Delivered, then your phone carrier successfully received the message.

At that point, the message may still be filtered or hidden on your device.

📱 Step 3: Save Rhumbix as a Contact (Prevents Filtering)

Some devices—especially iPhones—filter texts from numbers that are not saved as contacts. This can cause Rhumbix alerts to appear in “Unknown Senders,” “Junk,” or filtered message folders.

➤ To prevent this:

  1. Download and save the Rhumbix Contact Card:

📎 Save the Rhumbix Contact Card found at the bottom of this article. Look for Rhumbix(4).vcf.

  2. Open it on your phone and tap Save Contact.

  3. Once saved, future text alerts will appear in your main Messages inbox.

💡 Tip for iPhone Users: If Settings → Messages → Filter Unknown Senders is turned on, texts from unsaved numbers will be moved out of your main inbox. Saving the Rhumbix contact ensures you don’t miss alerts.

📌 Optional: Check Spam/Blocked Message Folders

If you still don’t see messages after saving the contact:

  • Open your Messages app and check “Unknown Senders,” “Junk,” or “Filtered” tabs.

  • Make sure Rhumbix numbers are not blocked in your phone settings.

  • If your carrier uses a spam filter app (like Verizon Call Filter, AT&T ActiveArmor, or T-Mobile Scam Shield), check that Rhumbix messages are allowed.
