Rhumbix App: Android Clear Cache

⚠️ Note for iOS (iPhone/iPad) users
Clearing app storage is not possible on iOS devices. Apple does not allow individual apps to clear cached data. If you are using an iPhone or iPad and need to refresh the Rhumbix app, the only option is to delete and reinstall the app from the App Store.


🤖 Android devices only

The steps below apply to Android phones and tablets. If you are using an iPhone or iPad, see the iOS note above.

Clearing app storage can help resolve slow performance, loading issues, or syncing problems. As part of this process, you will be logged out of the Rhumbix app. This action removes locally stored data from your device and refreshes the app. You’ll be able to log back in and continue working as normal.


🤖 Clear Rhumbix App Storage on Android

Follow these steps directly from your Android device:

  1. Long press on the Rhumbix app icon on your home screen or app drawer.

  2. Tap App Info.

  3. Select Storage & Cache.

  4. Tap Clear cache (storage).

  5. When prompted, tap Delete to confirm.


🔑 What to Expect After Clearing Storage

  • You will be logged out of the Rhumbix app

  • Your timecard entry screen will reset — projects, cost codes, and crew members that were remembered from your last session will need to be reselected

  • No project or time data is deleted from Rhumbix

  • You’ll need to log back in and continue working as normal

This action only affects data stored on your device—not anything saved in Rhumbix.
