Getting employees set up on text-to-sign is simple! Any time card owner can sign up an employee to receive texts from Rhumbix, which makes the time card signing process smoother and quicker for users.

Time Card Owner Subscribing Workers to Text-to-Sign on Mobile

Time card owners will need to go into the mobile app to sign-up their workers to receive text messages from Rhumbix. To do so, please follow these steps:

Go to the Time Card tab.

Create a time card using your normal process. Select your project, then select your workers.

When selecting your workers, there will be an Information Icon by their names.

Select the Information Icon.

Click the yellow button, Text Alert Sign-up.

Confirm the phone number associated with the employee

Select Yes

The employee will receive an initial text message letting them know that they have been subscribed to receive text messages from Rhumbix.

Workers Subscribing to Text-to-Sign on Mobile

Workers can subscribe to receive text messages from Rhumbix by following the below steps:

The employee will need to have their phone number associated with their Rhumbix account (Please check with your Admin to confirm).

Go into your text messaging app and text “START” to the Rhumbix text number - (626) 243-7629.

Text-to-Sign Confirmation

Once one of the above steps is completed, the employee will receive an initial text message from Rhumbix. This confirms that they are now signed up to receive text messages from Rhumbix.

Signing Time Cards with Text-to-Sign

Once an employee is set up to receive text messages, you can start sending links to their time cards to sign. To do so, follow these steps:

Create a time card and submit.

Go back into the time card, and under the employee, you will have two options: SIGN or REQUEST SIGNATURE.

To send a text message to the employee, select REQUEST SIGNATURE.

The employee will receive a text message with a link to sign their time card.

The employee must click the link to open the signature flow.

The link will open the employee identification screen. Employees must confirm their identity by clicking SIGN TIME CARD on the next screen. Otherwise, they can click CANCEL to exit.

The Signature Summary screen will display the employee’s total hours worked for the selected day or week under Shift Summary, End-of-Day Questions (if applicable), and Shifts and Breaks information (if enabled).

The employee can select Draw or Type and sign their time card. Employees can click Clear Signature to start over if they need to redo their signature.

Click SIGN TIME CARD to submit the signed time card.

After signing and submitting the time card, users can download the signature to their device by clicking DOWNLOAD SIGNATURE.
