Rhumbix makes it easy for workers to digitally sign their timecards via SMS. Once enrolled, team members will receive a text message with a link to review and sign their timecard directly from their phone—no login required.
This guide covers how both timecard owners and workers can enroll in text alerts, and how the signature process works once enrolled.
👷 Foreman/Timecard Owner: Enroll Workers via Mobile App
To enroll workers in text-to-sign from the Rhumbix mobile app:
Open the Timecards tab.
Create a timecard as you normally would—select your project and add your crew.
3. Next to each worker’s name, tap the information icon (ℹ️).
4. Tap Text Alert Sign-up.
5. Confirm the worker’s phone number.
6. Tap Yes to complete enrollment.
The worker will immediately receive a confirmation text letting them know they’ve been subscribed to receive messages from Rhumbix.
📱 Worker Re-Enrollment: Text-to-Sign via SMS
If a Team Member has previously texted STOP to opt out of receiving text messages from Rhumbix, they can re-enroll themselves in text alerts:
Make sure your phone number is on file in your Rhumbix profile (ask your admin if you’re unsure).
Open your text messaging app and send START to the Rhumbix SMS number:
(626) 243-7629You’ll receive a confirmation message once you’re successfully enrolled.
💡 You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP.
✍️ Signing Timecards via Text Message
Once enrolled, signing a timecard via text is simple:
The worker receives a text message with a link when their signature is requested.
Tap the link to open the timecard in your mobile browser.
Confirm your identity by tapping Sign Timecard.
Review your:
Choose to Draw or Type your signature.
Tap Clear Signature to redo it, if needed.
Tap Sign Timecard to submit.
After submitting, you’ll see a confirmation screen. You’ll also have the option to Download Signature to your device.
