How to Add/Modify comments on Web

NOTE: The Timekeeping Comments feature is not enabled by default for existing customers. However, new customers will have the comments feature enabled and available. If your company is interested in this feature, please contact your representative to discuss enabling comments in your account.

Comments can annotate timekeeping hours and help streamline field-to-office communication about why hours are entered a certain way. This guide will give users step-by-step instructions on creating and managing timekeeping comments.

Adding/Modifying Comments on the Web

**When timekeeping comments are enabled in a user’s company, a max character count will be specified for the environment.

On the Rhumbix Web Dashboard, navigate to Time Cards and select Weekly View.

Users can create new timekeeping entries with comments or review/edit/approve existing entries with comments depending on access and permissions.

**Timekeeping comments follow the same permissions as the associated ST/OT/DT hours.

In the Weekly View popup window on the Timekeeping tab, click + Add Row to create a new entry.

Add timekeeping data. To add comments, double-click into the text field in the comment column.

Users can add or modify free-form comments to the maximum character count configured. Type out comments.

To add a timekeeping entry with a comment, click Done.

NOTE: Once a comment has been added to a time card, users can use the Find feature to search for time cards with comments.
