If you track equipment usage in Rhumbix and want to see weekly usage data then you can go to the Equipment Tracking Dashboard located in the Time Cards section of the web platform. Note: This dashboard is not automatically turned on for all clients, so please reach out to your account manager if you would like this turned on in your account.

You can sort the dashboard view by the Equipment Name, Employee or the Cost Code by clicking on the drop down menu seen below.

Once you click into a cell you will have a number of options for adding or editing the data. These options will depend on the sorting you selected above. In this screenshot we are sorted by equipment (see the top left where the piece of equipment is listed - 110-079 Cat Motor Grader). From here you can add a new row, employees, and cost codes. If you have "Show Placeholders" enabled, you will see greyed out data based on the options you chose. These are your placeholders which will save you time by entering the employee and cost code column data for you. You can now add the proper hours here. Be aware that this has the effect of creating timecard entries so these hours will appear on the employee's timecard for this day.

Aggregate Equipment Utilization Hours

With the enhanced dashboard, you can now aggregate the hours of equipment utilization in a single view. This feature allows you to treat your equipment as valuable assets and gain a comprehensive understanding of how the hours have been allocated across different cost codes. This level of visibility can help you make informed decisions and optimize your equipment usage.

Inclusion of Equipment Modifiers

In addition to tracking raw utilization, we've extended the functionality to include equipment modifiers. This means you can now aggregate hours associated with equipment modifiers as well. This feature provides you with more detailed insights into how specific modifiers impact your equipment hours. It's all about giving you a complete picture of your equipment usage.
