Custom Timekeeping Statuses offer a powerful solution for refining your timekeeping review and approval process to meet your company's unique needs. With this feature, you can customize your timecard statuses to align precisely with your workflow requirements, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

Customers have the ability to create Custom Timekeeping Statuses and also the ability to hide built-in Rhumbix Timekeeping Statuses*.


To create Custom Timekeeping Statuses, navigate to Company Settings > Timekeeping Statuses.

  • Click Create Status

  • Populate the desired status Name

  • Double Click in the Color column and select the desired color

  • Toggle On any roles that you would like to grant access to the custom status


If you no longer want to use existing Rhumbix statuses, you have the ability to Hide them*:

  • Click the box to the left of the Status Name

  • Select "Hide Status" from the action bar above

If any timekeeping records exist in the status you wish to Hide, you will be prompted to move them to a new status:


You can delete a Custom Status:

  • Click the box to the left of the Status Name

  • Select "Delete Status" from the action bar above

You will be prompted to reassign any existing records to a new status if applicable.


*Rhumbix built-in status "Not Approved" cannot be Hidden.
