Rhumbix provides users with the flexibility to submit mobile time cards that contain only Production Tracking data. This feature is particularly useful for projects where tracking production activities separately from labor hours or other timekeeping data is essential.

Why Use Production Tracking Only Time Cards?

There are several scenarios where submitting a time card with only Production Tracking data may be beneficial:

  • Focused Reporting: Isolating production data could lead to more accurate reporting and analysis of project progress.

  • Streamlined Data Entry: When labor hours are not required or have already been submitted, you can streamline the process by entering only the necessary production data.

  • Compliance and Documentation: Ensures that critical production activities are documented even when other timekeeping data is not applicable.

Steps to Submit a Mobile Time Card with Only Production Tracking Data

  1. Log in to the Rhumbix Mobile App:
    Open the Rhumbix app on your mobile device and log in with your credentials.

  2. Navigate to the Time Card Section:
    From the main screen, select "Time Card."

  3. Select the Project:
    Choose the project for which you want to submit production data.

  4. Worker Assignment:
    The app will automatically add the user as a Worker. It’s important to keep this selection, as a Worker must exist on the time card even if no hours are being entered for that Worker.

  5. Select Cost Codes:
    Choose the cost codes needed for your Production Tracking entry.

  6. Set the Date:
    Enter the date you want associated with the Production Tracking quantities.

  7. Enter Production Tracking Data:

    • In the Time Card entry screen, choose the "PRODUCTION" tab. Input the quantity completed for each cost code. You can also add additional cost codes from this screen.

    • Once a quantity has been entered, you can click "Add Details" to take photos or enter any necessary notes.

    • Leave the fields related to labor hours and other timekeeping data blank.

  8. Review the Production Tracking Entry:
    Before submitting, review the information to ensure that all required production data has been accurately entered.

  9. Submit the Time Card:
    Once you’re satisfied with the Production Tracking data, return to the "HOURS" tab and click "Submit Work Shift" at the bottom of the screen to submit the time card. Rhumbix will process this as a Production Tracking-only entry.

Important Note: Once the Production Tracking time card has been submitted, you cannot access it to edit the entry. If changes need to be made to the quantities, you will need to create another Production Tracking time card containing the adjusting entries.
