Shipping & Delivery

Information about pharmacy fulfillment, delivery timelines, tracking updates, and shipping questions.

How long does shipping take?

Typical pharmacy processing and delivery timeline.

Once your provider reviews your intake and medical history and approves your treatment, your prescription is sent to an independent, licensed pharmacy for fulfillment. Most orders ship within 3–7 business days, and are often processed sooner. Shipping & processing times can vary by pharmacy and may occasionally be affected by periods of high demand, holidays, or inclement weather.

Prescription medications and related charges are non-refundable once an order enters independent provider review or pharmacy fulfillment, except where required by applicable law.

Do I get tracking info?

Learn how shipping notifications and tracking updates work.

Yes. As soon as your order ships, you'll receive real-time tracking updates via email and/or SMS so you can follow your package every step of the way. For the best delivery experience, we recommend creating free online accounts with FedEx and UPS and downloading their mobile apps. This allows you to receive tracking updates as soon as a shipping label is created.

Important: Carrier apps and online accounts are recommended for tracking and informational purposes only. FedEx, USPS and UPS may display optional delivery features such as holds, rerouting, or other delivery modifications. Any use of these options is voluntary and undertaken solely at the recipient's discretion and responsibility. Rift does not recommend or manage delivery alterations and has no control over carrier services or fees.

If delivery changes made directly with the carrier result in a package being delayed, lost, misdelivered, or marked undeliverable, Rift is not responsible for the outcome. If a replacement shipment is requested as a result of these alterations, a reshipment fee will apply. Carrier-selected options may also result in additional fees imposed by the carrier, which Rift does not control or cover.

My medication arrived with melted ice packs or feels warm upon delivery. What should I do?

Explanation of temperature stability and shipping conditions.

The compounding pharmacies have conducted temperature stability testing, either in house or through third party lab studies, to account for these issues that may occur during shipping. These studies evaluate short term temperature excursions and are designed to account for scenarios such as melted ice packs or brief periods outside of refrigeration. The medication remains potent and sterile up until BUD so long as it is stored in the refrigerator when received. This is an expected part of the shipping process and is taken into consideration by design.

If this explanation does not fully address your concerns, we can connect you directly with the pharmacy that dispensed and shipped your medication for further clarification and reassurance, including discussion of their temperature-stability studies. Please note that pharmacies are not required to share internal studies, as this information may be confidential or proprietary. Any such disclosure is provided at the pharmacy's discretion and as a courtesy, and cannot be guaranteed.

Our goal is to ensure you feel informed and confident about the medications you receive, and we are happy to help provide as much reassurance and transparency as possible.
