When you return the Report to an Approver, it will disappear from your queue and go back to the selected Approver. After they complete their review, it will come back to you to continue the process. Just follow these simple steps:
From the "Approver" menu, select “Reports.”
In the "To Review" tab, you’ll see the list of reports pending your review. Find and select the Report you want to return.
Once inside the Report, you’ll find the "Return Report" button at the top. You can also find this option under the "Options" button in the top right corner.
Select the user to whom you are returning the Report, in this case, the Approver who was before you.
Leave a note in the "Observations" section explaining the reasons for returning the Report, so the Approver knows what needs to be corrected.
To finalize the return, click "Return Report."
That’s it! The report has been quickly and easily returned to the Approver.
💡Tip: Be specific in your comment so that the Approver knows exactly what needs to be reviewed. This will help ensure the process flows smoothly.
How to return an expense report to a submitter?
When you return a Report to a Submitter, the review process is considered complete. The report will be placed in the Submitter's report queue with a "Pending Corrections" status, where the Submitter can edit, resend, or delete the Report. Just follow these simple steps:
From the "Approver" menu, select “Reports.”
In the "To Review" tab, you’ll see the list of reports pending your review. Find and select the Report you want to return.
Once inside the Report, you’ll find the "Return Report" button at the top. You can also find this option under the "Options" button in the top right corner.
Select the user to whom you are returning the Report, in this case, the Submitter.
