Why is it necessary to open closed reports?

You may need to open closed reports so that the Approver can correct any expenses that were accepted or rejected by mistake, or to return the Report to the Submitter if necessary.

How to open an expense report?

Opening a closed report is simple—just follow these steps:

  1. From the "Approver" menu, select "Reports."

  2. Go to "Reviewed," where you'll find all reviewed and closed reports.

  3. Click on the title of the Report you wish to open.

  4. Once inside the Report, click the "Options" button in the top right corner and select "Reopen Report."

  5. Finally, when you reopen the Report, its status will change from closed to in progress, and it will appear in the "To Review" tab.

That’s it! Your Expense Report is now open, and you can make any necessary modifications.

✏️ Note:

* The policy must be configured to allow report reopening; otherwise, the "Reopen Report" option will not be visible.

* Any user who belongs to the flow and has reviewed the report will be able to reopen it.
