What is a custom status used for?

Custom statuses allow you to have greater control and tracking of approved reports. You can configure them according to your company's needs. Rindegastos suggests options like "to be paid," "paid," "accounted for," among others.

How to mass-assign custom statuses to reports?

Save time by assigning custom statuses to "in process" and "closed" reports in Global Company. Just follow these steps:

  1. From the "Administrator" menu, select “Global Company.”

  2. You’ll see the Reports listed from the most recent folio to the oldest.

  3. At the top, apply filters (report name, folio, expense policy, Submitter, submission date) to find specific reports.

  4. Click the circle next to "Name / submission date" to select all reports. A small window will appear showing the number of selected expenses and two actions: "Change Status" or "View Reports."

  5. Click on "Change Status."

  6. Select the desired status and add a comment if you wish.

  7. Finally, click "Change Status" to apply the changes.

That’s it! With just a few clicks, you’ve mass-assigned custom statuses to the Reports.

✏️ Note: You can only mass-assign custom statuses if the feature is enabled in your expense policy settings and if you have the Global Company permission in addition to the Approver role.
