What happens if I delete a user in Rindegastos?
When you delete a user in Rindegastos, they will no longer be able to access the platform. Their user data will remain stored, but it will no longer be filterable or editable within the platform.
What do I need to delete a user?
To delete a user in Rindegastos, please consider the following:
If the user is an expense submitter, all submitted reports must be closed.
If the user is an approver, they must not have any reports pending for review and must be removed from any approval flows they are part of.
🧐 Note: You cannot delete your own user in Rindegastos. Another administrator must do it for you.
How to delete a user?
Deleting a user in Rindegastos is very easy. Just follow these steps:
From the Administrator menu, select the Users option. Here you'll see a list of all users created on the platform.
Use the filter to search for the user you want to delete. You can search by name or filter by Role or last login date.
Click on the name to open the user’s profile.
In the upper right corner, click on the three dots and select Delete user.
A warning window will open where Rindegastos will confirm the user deletion.
To finish, click Delete user.
Done! The user has been deleted and will no longer have access to the company’s information.
✏️ Note: If you accidentally remove a user, you can link them again and their previous data will remain intact.
🧐 Note: If the user does not meet the conditions required for deletion, you will first need to remove them from approval flows and close pending reports before trying again.
