Why update review workflows in Rindegastos?
With the new version of Rindegastos, you can now configure independent review workflows for expense policies. This means a single review workflow can be assigned to multiple policies, workflows can be tailored for specific Submitters, and you can even use them for fund requests.
Therefore, if your expense policies were set up in the previous version, you will need to update the workflows for each policy to take advantage of these new features in the web version.
What happens when you update review workflows?
When you update review workflows in the new version of Rindegastos:
The workflow will be created with all its Approvers users, and you’ll be able to edit and configure it.
You can assign the same workflow to multiple policies and individual Submitters without needing to access the previous version.
During the update, you can rename the workflow for easier identification.
All active reports under the policy with the updated workflow will be reset to the Submitter, who will need to resubmit them.
From the update date forward, all reports involving that workflow must be reviewed by Approvers in the new version of Rindegastos.
Important: Once the review workflow is updated, the action cannot be reversed.

To update a review workflow for a policy in Rindegastos, follow these steps:
From the "Administrator" menu, select “Policies.”

In the policy menu, select “review workflows.” This option will only be available if the workflow has not been updated yet.
Click “Read More” and then click “Update Workflow.” You can edit the name of the workflow to make it easier to identify in the workflow list.
Finally, click “Update Workflow,” and you’re done!

I do not want to update the review workflow, what can I do?
If you prefer not to update the review workflow and instead want to create a new one or assign an existing one, you can link a new review workflow. To do this:
Access directly from the 'review workflows' option in the 'Administrator' menu, and you can create and configure the workflow you want to use. We explain everything in this article, How to configure a review workflow?
Then, from the “Policies” section, instead of updating the workflow, choose “Link New Workflow.”
From the list, select the workflow you want to assign to the policy.
Finally, click “Assign Workflow,” and you're done! The workflow will be assigned to the policy.
Important: The review workflow that the policy previously had will not be created as a separate workflow.
