How to configure a reimbursable fund or petty cash request?

What can you do in the funds module?

The funds configuration module allows you to manage and customize fund requests for submitters in detail, by defining currency types and assigning limit amounts by category.

🧐 Note: Keep in mind that this process must be carried out by the user with the Administrator role.

How to configure a reimbursable fund or petty cash request?

Configuring fund or petty cash requests is simple. Just follow these steps:

  1. From the “Administrator” menu, select “Funds.”

  2. In the menu, go to “Fund Request.”

  3. In the “Currency” section, you can add one or more currencies and set a limit amount for each. This is the maximum amount the system will allow Submitters to request.

  4. Click “Add Currency.”

  5. Select the currency, set the limit amount, and then click “Save Currency.”

  6. In the “Categories” section, define a limit amount for each category created for each of the previously added currencies.

  7. Click “Add Categories.”

  8. Select one or more categories, then, in “Add Categories,” set the limit amount for each currency in the table.

  9. In the “Permissions” section, grant permissions to Submitters for making fund requests.

  10. Slide the button to the right to enable the option requiring Submitters to add at least one category to their fund request.

  11. In “Number of Requests per User,” define the maximum number of requests a user can submit simultaneously.

  12. In “Activate Policies,” you can get the custom report fields associated with each policy.

  13. Select one or more policies that users can associate with their fund requests.

  14. Finally, in “Activate Mandatory Policy,” enable this option to make it mandatory for Submitters to add a policy to their requests.

That’s it! You’ve now configured fund or petty cash requests for Submitters.
