We’ll explain how to create an expense in the mobile app using the Scanit tool.
Note that you can only create an expense on the app if you have the Submitter role assigned and at least one Expense Policy.
The first step to use Rindegastos on your mobile device is to download the app, which is named Rindegastos on AppStore (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).
Once you have downloaded the app, open it and press the blue button to Sign In. Enter your email registered in Rindegastos and your password.
Now, to start creating a New Expense with Scanit, follow these steps:
Once signed in, to create an expense, tap the first icon "Expenses" in the bottom right corner of the screen and select the blue button with the “+” symbol.
Various options will appear for submitting your expenses. If you do not have the distance tool enabled, the car icon will not appear.
Among the available options, press the green button with a lightning bolt ⚡ inside, which will open a new tab to create the expense using Scanit.
When using Scanit, a tab will open where you should select your Expense Policy and the Currency in which you will make your submission. After this, choose whether to upload a photo of the document already saved in your Gallery or take a photo of your receipt or invoice.
Automatically, after selecting one of the above options, the document will be scanned and the information will be extracted for processing the creation of the Expense, which may take a few minutes. If you wish, you can close the app, and it will normally continue loading.
After the data extraction is complete, you will be able to confirm the data that was automatically filled in and edit any fields that are pending completion.
✏️Note: Remember that this is the first step in creating an Expense Report. Once you have created all your expenses, you will need to create an Expense Report and submit it for review.
