How to Prepare and Send a Participant File for Upload

This article outlines the process for preparing and submitting a Participant file to ensure accurate and timely uploads processed by RiseKit.

Overview: To upload Participant data, you will need to:

  1. Download and make a copy of the provided Template.

  2. Complete the file using the required format.

  3. Send the file as a CSV to RiseKit at hello@risekit.co.

  4. Allow up to 48 business hours for upload completion.


Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Download the Template

  1. Access the Participant File Template here.

  2. Open the Template.

  3. Click File > Make a Copy to save an editable version to your own workspace.

Step 2: Populate the Template

  • You can use the Template to enter your Participant information.

  • Follow these guidelines for data entry:

    • Ensure all required columns are filled in (e.g., Full Name, Email or Phone)

    • Ensure optional fields match accepted inputs (gender, ethnicity, etc.)

    • Please don't add or modify column headers; the format must remain as-is.

Step 3: Save and Export as a CSV

  1. Once you have completed the file, click File > Download > Comma-Separated Values (.csv).

  2. Save the file to your preferred location.

Step 4: Send the File for Upload

  • Email the completed CSV file to hello@risekit.co.

  • Include a clear subject line, such as: "Participant Upload: [Your Organization Name]."

Step 5: Confirmation and Processing Time

  • Once sent, uploads will be processed within 48 business hours.

  • If there are any issues with your file, you will be notified as soon as possible for corrections.


Tips to Ensure a Smooth Upload

  • Double-check the CSV format before sending.

  • Remove any extra spaces, special characters, or unnecessary formatting.

  • Double-check that the format matches what is in the template
