How to Update a Participant's Pathway Status
Why does it matter?
Program Teams need to accurately report on program outcomes and identify where participants are dropping off in their journey. RiseKit makes it simple for Teams to break the experience into stages (e.g. intake, program, employment, retention), track a participants success during each phase of the journey, and quickly pull reports for funders and internal analysis.

How to do it
Once a participant is assigned to a pathway - Staff can modify their status using the options below:
Applied - Participant has applied to the program
In Progress - Participant has qualified to the start the program
Completed - Participant has completed the program
Voluntarily Dropped - Participant has voluntarily dropped out of the program
Involuntarily Dropped - Participant has involuntarily dropped out of the program (e.g. family issues cause them to stop)
Transferred - Participant has transferred to a new program
Staff can modify the statuses for each individual participant or group.
Before getting started - there are two important points to keep in mind: 1) If a status is already set to Completed or Dropped, only RiseKit Staff right now can update the status to either In Progress or Applied so reach out via the Chat for us to help 1) If staff need to also assign a participant to another pathway, they must update the status FIRST before assigning the participant to the new pathway
For Groups
1. Either select the individual participant by clicking the boxes to the left or click on the box next Full Name and choose Select All
Select Individual Names or Select All
2. Click on the three dots in the top right and choose User Profile
Select User Profile
3. Select the correct pathway status and choose to Apply Actions
For Individuals:
1. For the participant record you want to modify, select the three dots on the right and choose Modify User Account
Select Modify User Account
2. Select the correct pathway status and choose to Apply Actions
Do you also need to assign a new staff member to the participant? You can follow these instructions for how to assign a staff member to a participant record - How to Update Staff Assignments
