How to use Copy and Paste in LivePHA

Move/Reorder

To Move/Reorder items, simply select a tile and drag it from one section to the next.

When dragging to be the first safeguard or recommendation in a consequence that has no existing items, ensure to drag above the "+New Item" text.

Move/Cut to Destination

If you need to move or copy items across large amounts of data, you can use the "To Destination" Feature.

Copy

Copy Using Drag

To Copy using Drag, simply select a tile, Ctrl, and drag it from one section to the next. Once you release the object, the paste will have occurred.

How to Access the Clipboard

There are two methods to access the Copy and Paste Clipboard:

  • Method 1:

    • Simply select the "Copy" function, that appears when hovering over any object

  • Method 2:

    • In the Top Blue Banner, select the Clipboard Icon

Using either

of these methods will open the Clipboard Drawer, which by default will be blank at the start of each web session.

How to Copy and Paste

To start the copy and paste process:

  • Hover over any object in either the Tree View or Grid View. Hovering will expose the Copy and Delete Options

  • Once you select "Copy" that item will be added and selected from the Clipboard and is ready to paste.

  • The items which you can paste into will be highlighted blue

  • You can choose to either:

    • "Paste here/Above/Below", which will include all children (e.g. in the example above, relevant safeguards and recommendations will be copied, etc.)

    • Choose to Paste without children (e.g. only the consequence itself will be copied)

    • Cancel the Copy

  • The top 10 most recent items copied will stay within the clipboard for your web session. Throughout your session, you can access the clipboard directly and select any object in the clipboard to then paste it into your worksheet.

  • You are only able to paste while the Clipboard is opened, either through a Copy Action from the Worksheet or by opening the Clipboard directly.

  • Once the web session has ended, the clipboard will reset.

Lock Worksheet to a Node/Deviation

If you want to lock a worksheet to a specific Node and or Deviation, simply select the Lock icon by the Node or Deviation descriptions on the sticky ribbon.
