What is a non-custodial wallet?

Written by Mat from Rizon

A non-custodial wallet means you are the only one who controls your money.

When you create a Rizon account, a secure wallet is generated for you automatically. Your funds are not held by a bank, exchange, or by Rizon. Instead, they are stored on-chain and can only be accessed and authorized by you.

Rizon does not have the ability to move, freeze, or access your funds. Your account is protected by modern security measures such as biometric authentication, Face ID, passkeys, and encryption.

This gives you the benefits of self-custody (full control and transparency) without the complexity typically associated with crypto wallets. There are no seed phrases to manage and no technical setup required.
