Social Tool | Post Performance improvements
What is it?
Improvements have been made to the Overview page and under the Insights tab related to "Post Performance" for the stats and table totals. The "reach and engagement" card on the Overview page was removed and replaced with "Recent posts" indicating successful posts during the last 30 days. Improved stats under Insights -> Post Performance (stats now match the cards and table view in all tabs in SM and post-performance). The export functionality is now enabled for Post Performance.
Why is this important?
When a Partner or an SMB wants to prove the effectiveness of their social media content, they can analyze and dig into social media post performance using the tool of their choice, so they can present the data as it best suits them using the date range of their choice.
How does it work?
Go to the Social Tool Overview Page:
Note that the middle card "Recent posts" has replaced the "reach and engagement" card. It displays only successful posts made during the last 30 days.
Next, visit the Post Performance tab under Insights. Under the "All" tab, users can select different date ranges. After selecting the date range, users will see that the new posts count in the chart match the total posts count in the table below.
Also, under the "All" tab, users will see the published information, the post that was made, and the service used. Now there is an "Export" button to download a CSV file for this Post Performance reporting.
Notice under the Google Business Profile tab, there is a full-length chart because there is no reach or engagement provided for this by the Google API. Instead, the table will display views and clicks, which can be exported via the "Export" button. The stats at the top of the chart will match the total at the bottom of the table.
Facebook does calculate reach and engagement. The stats match the total in the table. Additionally, the API provides reach, comments, reshares, reactions, and engagement. This report can also be exported as a downloadable CSV.
For Instagram, there are new posts completed and breakdown of the reach.
Twitter includes new posts and the follower count.
LinkedIn displays the new posts and engagement. The stats for these match the totals in the table.
When is it available?
This is now available to all Partners with clients with the Social Tool activated.
