What You Need to Use an eSIM:

  • Good internet connection.

  • A camera to scan QR codes or a QR code app.

Switching from eSIM to Physical SIM for Existing Rocket Mobile Customers

  1. Sign in to the Rocket Mobile website and go to SIM Purchase, or click here

  2. Select the same plan and click "Buy Now" Don't worry, you won't be charged for the plan.

  3. Make sure to select "Physical SIM" and proceed to checkout.

  4. If you're already signed in, click proceed. If not, enter your Rocket Mobile email and password.

  5. Accept any SIM fee, then complete the checkout process.

  6. Your physical SIM will be delivered within 3 business days.

  7. Once received, insert the SIM card into your phone and check for a cellular signal.

  8. Notify us via chat so we can process the SIM swap and transfer your number from eSIM to physical SIM.

Switching from Physical SIM to eSIM for Existing Rocket Mobile Customers

  1. Sign in to the Rocket Mobile website, go to SIM Purchase, or click this link:

  2. Select the same plan and click "Buy Now" Don't worry, you won't be charged for the plan.

  3. To place an eSIM order, click "Change to eSIM" and proceed to checkout.

  4. If you're already signed in, click proceed. If not, enter your Rocket Mobile email and password.

  5. Accept the $2 eSIM fee, then complete the checkout process.

  6. Your eSIM will be sent to your email, or you can view it in the order history by logging in to the Rocket Mobile website or app and clicking the eye icon.

  7. To install the eSIM on your phone, ensure you have a strong Wi-Fi or data connection and a functioning camera. Scan the QR code or manually enter the eSIM details.

  8. Once the eSIM status on your phone shows active, avoid activating the plan or clicking the SMS activation link to prevent extra charges.

  9. Notify us via chat so we can process the SIM swap and transfer your number from physical SIM to eSIM.
