Prospects Overview

At the top of the page, the first thing that you will visualize is the name of your prospect and their address.

Copy job: Creates a duplicate

In this article, we will go over each tab inside your prospects page.

To visualize a specific prospect, go to your Prospects page and click on the name of any prospect/lead.

Overview Tab

Inside your overview tab, you can visualize an overview of the information related to this specific job prospect.

Information you can access and modify inside the overview tab:

✅ Customer Information

✅ Job Information

✅ Prospect Checklist

✅ Estimates

✅ Expenses

*Note about estimates

There are three ways you can get an estimate:

  1. Create From Scratch

  2. Manual Roof Layout

  3. Create From Template (recommended): For this option, you will need to have the roof layout drawn inside the system and have your roof templates added to your account by one of our representatives (This step gets done automatically after your first onboarding call).

Notes Tab

Inside your Notes tab, you can add notes related to this specific prospect job.

Steps to create a note:

  1. Click Create

  2. Complete and submit the form.

Commissions Tab

If the employee that created this job prospect has a commission structure set up, you will see the details on this page.

If you would like to set up commission structures for your team, please visit this guided tour.

If you want to add or modify a commission structure to your employees, go to Tools> Employees> Manage Employees. Once you are on the Employee page, click on the employee's name and add the commission structure you want to assign them.

Events Tab

In the event tab, you can create events related to the job prospect.

Steps to add an event:

  1. Click on the "Add Event" button

  2. Complete and submit the form.

Docs Tab

In the Docs tab, you can manage all the documents related to the specific prospect.

Actions you can take inside the Docs tab:

Add Docs: You can add documents stored on your computer. To do this, click the "Add Docs" button. You can add different types of documents, such as PDFS or pictures.

Combine Job Docs: You can combine job documents inside your system.

To do this, click the "Combine Job Docs" button.

Import Template: Import Templates loaded in your system.

Suppose you want to add document templates to your system. Go to Tools > Document Templates > Click on the create button > Complete and Submit the form.

Import Company Doc: Import Company Docs loaded in your system. Suppose you want to add company docs. Go to Tools > Company Docs > Click on the create button > Complete and submit the form.

Photos Tab

Inside your Photos Tab, you can visualize and administrate the photos related to the specific prospect.

Actions you can take inside the Photos Tab:

Upload Photos: To upload photos click the "Upload" button.

Tag Pictures: To Tag pictures, click "Select" on the top right of your photos > Select the images you want to tag > Select a tag from the dropdown menu.

Share photos: Select the pictures you want to share and then click on the "Share" button.

Emails Tab

Inside your emails tab, you can visualize the history of the emails sent from ROOFLINK. In this tab, you can compose emails from scratch or from a template.

By default, you will visualize an email sent to the email account of the team member that created this job. This email contains information about this prospect.

Steps to write an email from scratch:

  1. Click on the compose button

  2. Compose your email and when you finish, click submit

Steps to compose an email from a template:

  1. Click on the "From Template" button

  2. Pick the template you want to use and submit the form

Important note: If you want to select a template, you need to have email templates loaded inside your system. To do this, go to Tools > Email > Manage Email Templates > Create, or click here to view a guided tour on how to add an email template and use it with your prospects.

SMS Tab

Important note: To use this feature, your phone number needs to be verified.

To add and verify your phone number, go to your profile > Verify Mobile, and complete the verification process.

Inside the SMS tab, you can visualize the history of phone messages sent from ROOFLINK. In this tab, you can compose phone messages from scratch or from a template.

Steps to write an SMS from scratch:

  1. Click on the "Compose" button

  2. Complete and submit the form
    Form Instructions:
    Inside Recipients, pick the contact you want to send your message. If the person is not inside the list, you can type their phone number in the form field.

Steps to composing an SMS from a template:

  1. Click on the "From Template" button

  2. Complete and submit the form

Important note: If you want to select a template, you need to have email templates loaded inside your system. To do this, go to Tools > SMS >Manage SMS Templates>Create or click here to view a guided tour on how to add an SMS template and use it with your prospects.

Roof Layout Tab

Inside this tab, you can draw the roof layout for this prospect. If you want to learn how to add a roof layout, please click here to view a guided tour.

Inspections Tab

Inside the inspection tab, you can create inspections associated with the job prospect.

There are two ways you can create job inspections:

  1. From a template: Click the "Create Inspection" button. To use this option, you need to have inspection templates added to your system. To add inspection templates, go to Tools > Inspection templates > Create

  2. Custom inspection: Click the "Custom Inspection" button > Fill the form. When the form is submitted, click on the name of the inspection to start customizing it.

Todo Tab

The Todo tab refers to To-Do lists. You can add a To-Do list by clicking on the "Create todo" button.

Contacts Tab

Inside this tab, you can create contacts relevant to this prospect. For example, you can add your customer as one of your contacts.

Steps To Add new contacts:

  1. Click on the "Create Contact"

  2. Fill and submit the form
