Team managers and owners can set profitability minimums and defaults for proposal templates to ensure that every proposal sent using a template is profitable.

How to select Margin or Markup as your default profitability
Navigate to settings in your Roofr dashboard
Click preferences
Use the dropdown to choose between margin and markup
Click save changes
š” Only team team owners and managers will have access to make this change. This change will update for all team members and on all new proposals and proposal templates.
How to set your Default and Minimum profit margin or markup
š” Default and minimum profit margin/markup can be set at the individual template level
Navigate to the Proposals section of your Roofr dashboard
Click the Templates tab
Select the template you wish to set
Click Edit option
Toggle on the default and/or minimum sliders to set for this template
Enter the desired percentage in the corresponding boxes
Click Save
š” Only team team owners and managers will be able to set default and minimum profit on proposal templates.
How to apply recommended waste factor to your proposal
Click Edit Option in your proposal
In the Waste (%) column, click the link icon next to the item you want to add recommended waste to
Click the link icon again to confirm your selection
š” The recommended waste from the associated Roofr Report will be added to that line item
How to manually adjust your proposal subtotal
Click Edit option in the proposal you would like to adjust
Click the pen next to the proposal subtotal to edit
Enter your new subtotal and (optional) tax percentage
Click done, then save.
š” If your subtotal falls below the minimum profitability threshold, team managers will receive a warning before changes are saved.
Team members will receive an error message, and wonāt be able to save a subtotal that falls below the minimum profitability threshold.
