If you’ve purchased a temporary car insurance policy through the Rooster app with our partner GoShorty, here’s everything you need to know:


✅ I’ve paid for my policy but haven’t received my documents – what should I do?

Don’t worry! Policy documents are usually emailed to you within a few minutes of completing your purchase. If you haven’t received them:

  1. Check your email inbox – including spam/junk folders.

  2. Make sure you used the correct email address at checkout.

  3. If you still can’t find them, you can:


🔧 Can I make changes to my temporary insurance policy?

Unfortunately, temporary car insurance policies cannot be amended once purchased. This includes:

  • Changing the vehicle or driver

  • Changing the dates or times of cover

  • Extending the duration of your policy

If you need different cover, you’ll need to purchase a new policy through the Rooster app or directly via GoShorty.


📱 How do I manage or view my temporary policy?

You can view your temporary insurance policy documents via the Rooster app within the Short-term insurance section on the homepage of the app.
