How do I add a driver to my policy? ➕👥

You can add additional drivers to your policy!

Requirements for additional drivers:

All drivers on the policy, including additional drivers, must meet the minimum requirements (see "Who do you insure?" and "Minimum requirements to sign up" articles for details)
All additional drivers need to of held their full UK licence for longer than the policy holder

How to add an additional driver?

Please contact us on Live Chat to provide us with the details for the additional driver/s. We will then double check that they can be added and let you know of any price increase/decrease that may occur. If you are happy to proceed, they can be added in a matter of seconds 🤝😎

What details do we need? 🪪ℹ️

All we need is the following:

First name
Surname
Gender
DOB (date of birth)
Relationship to you (IE friend/partner/parent ETC)
Occupation title and industry
Number of years a UK resident
Month and year they passed their Full UK driving test
Licence type
Month and year of all motoring convictions or accidents in the last 5 years

💸 Will it cost me anything?

We charge a £30 admin fee for any changes to your policy plus any premium change as a result of adding another driver. However, it's worth remembering your premium could go up or down.
