What do you need to do if your car has been impounded?

Whilst we hope none of our policy holders find their vehicle impounded by the police, you will need to purchase separate impound insurance so you can have your vehicle released. We offer separate temporary impound insurance so please visit the app and scroll down on the home page to find the relevant temporary cover option.

Please also contact with our Customer Service team via Live Chat to confirm what's happened to your car, as the underwriters will also need to be notified of your change in circumstance. Providing all your policy details are in order, your Rooster policy will resume once your vehicle has been released.

If the police are requesting to speak with us or require further information, please refer them to our Live Chat as well (on the website or app) or they can contact us via email on hello@joinrooster.co.uk.

We hope we can get your car back on the road as quickly as possible!
