We’re sorry to see you’re looking to delete your NatWest Rooster Money account - we’d love to hear from you to know if there’s anything we can do to improve your experience! Please do get in touch via hello@roostermoney.com if there’s anything we can help with!

Before you delete your account:

  1. Remove any remaining funds into your Parent Account, from Pots or the Rooster Card

  2. Cancel any standing orders into the NatWest Rooster Money account

  3. Let friends and family who have previously sent you money know that you are no longer using this account

To delete your NatWest Rooster Money account:

  1. Tap on the Menu icon in the top right corner from your family dashboard

  2. Tap on Manage Account

  3. Tap Account Settings

  4. At the bottom of the screen you will see Delete account

How to request that your account be deleted (Chat):

  1. From the NatWest Rooster Money app, tap on the Menu icon in the top right corner from your family dashboard or from the NatWest Rooster Money website, tap the chat icon in the bottom right hand corner

  2. Select Send us a message

  3. Include in your message the email address you used to create your account, your postcode and ask the team to delete your account

  4. You will receive confirmation of deletion via email from NatWest Rooster Money

How to request that your account be deleted (Email):

  1. You can contact the NatWest Rooster Money team via email on hello@roostermoney.com

  2. Send the email from the email address you used to create your account

  3. Include in your message your address and and ask the team to delete your account

  4. You will receive confirmation of deletion via email from NatWest Rooster Money

Please Note: once you delete your NatWest Rooster Money account, it isn’t possible to recover your account

Can I delete some of my data, without deleting my whole account?

You can delete a child or secondary guardian profile, and you can edit information such as your name, address or email address, but you cannot delete this data entirely without deleting your account.

Is it possible to cancel my subscription and continue using the free version of NatWest Rooster Money?

Yes, you can still use the free version of our app after you’ve cancelled any subscription. For more information please get in touch with the team who can help you do this.

I set up one of the child accounts by mistake, how do I delete just their child account?

You can delete just the child account from either a Primary or Secondary Guardian account by heading over to the Manage Account screen, tapping on the child whose account you wish to delete and tapping Delete Child.

How do I remove a Secondary Guardian from my family account?

You will need to do this from your Primary Guardian account, just follow the steps below:

  1. Tap on the 'Menu' icon in the top right corner from your family dashboard

  2. Tap on 'Manage Account'

  3. Under ‘Guardians’ tap on the Secondary Guardian’s icon you would like to delete

  4. Scroll down and tap on the red ‘Delete Guardian’

  5. Confirm the deletion
