Updated over a week ago

The master chores list allows you to see all of the chores you’ve ever created for your children - even those outside of your current allowance period!

How to find the master chores list

To get to the master chores list, just tap on ‘Explore’ at the bottom of the screen and then tap ‘Master chores list’. You will be able to see the full list of all of the chores you’ve created for your children on the next screen.

Alternatively, you can access the master chores list via your child’s chores list. Just tap the Settings cog in the top right corner, then tap “See master chores list”.

How to use the master chores list

Chores listed on the master chores list are separated into allowance and extra earners. Against each chore, you will see the chore schedule and the time of day icon, if time of day has been set.

To the right of each chore, there’s a hexagon that shows the profile picture of the child it is assigned to. If the chore is assigned to more than 1 child, there will be a number in the hexagon that reflects the number of children the chore is assigned to.

Adding a chore from the master chores list

You can also add chores directly from the master chores list. To do this, tap the blue button with the + in the bottom right corner of the master chores list. Then follow the steps through to add the new master chore.

Filtering the master chores list

You also have the option to filter the master chores by kids. You can do this by pressing the funnel icon in the top right corner of the screen. Here you can select the children whose chores you’d like to view and once you press “Save” the list will only show the chores assigned to the selected children.

Editing a master chore

You can also edit chores straight from the master chores list. Just tap the master chore you’d like to edit to be able to edit the following:

  • Tap the chore name at the top of the page and you can edit the name, notes and picture for the chore.

  • Tap the first drop-down box to edit the schedule for the chore.

  • Tap the second drop-down box to change whether the chore is an allowance chore or an extra earner chore.

  • Tap your children's profile pictures to change who the chore is and isn't assigned to.

Note: if you edit a master chore, this will edit all future instances of this chore for all of the children it is assigned to.

Deleting a master chore

To delete a master chore, just tap the chore you’d like to delete and at the bottom on the screen select ‘Delete all instances’

Note: if you delete a master chore, this will delete all future instances of the chore from all of the children it is assigned to. It will also be deleted from the master chore list.
