Why is there an alert showing in the app?

When something needs to be actioned in the app, an alert will show either as a dot or an exclamation mark.

A quick overview of why an alert is showing is below:

Alert Location	Explanation
! alert on Chores	A chore needs to be actioned (approve/skip/mark not done) for the current period You can read more about this here OR A past allowance period needs to be actioned (approve chores and/or confirm the amount you’d like your child to receive) Note: this will also show on the blue calendar date button if you tap on the “Chores” button You can read more about this here
! alert on Child’s Profile Photo	A goal needs to be approved You can read more about this here OR A donation needs to be approved You can read more about this here
! alert on Child’s Give or Goal Pots	A goal needs to be approved You can read more about this here OR A donation needs to be approved You can read more about this here
Green dot alert on Explore	When we’ve posted a new resource a green dot alert will appear on Explore at the bottom of the family dashboard You can also find our educational money tips here.
