You won't be able to link a chore to an Allowance until you have created an Allowance period; you will only get the option to add a chore as an Extra Earner.
Once you have created an Allowance, you will be able to add a new chore and either select it as an Extra Earner, or make completion of the chore mandatory in order to the full Allowance.
