Additional Stripe Verification: Microtransaction

Learn how to complete Stripe’s additional verification step using the small micro-transaction code sent to your bank. Enter the code to finish connecting your account and enable Rootabl payouts.

On occasion Stripe will require a user to do one added step of verification in order to finalize their bank account connection. What they have done is sent you a 'micro-transaction' (something less than 1 dollar) and has a code in the "Description" of the charge.

These charges always begin with the letters "Sm______".


Once located, reply to us here at hello@rootabl.com with it, or a screenshot, we'll be able to complete your stripe verification and solidify your connection for future use.
