IMPORTANT: You'll want to add the Rootabl tracking code onto ALL pages of your funnel for EACH product you want to affiliates to earn commission on.
Adding a Custom JavaScript/HTML element will be helpful for including scheduling software and other tools in your funnel page.
This article will go over how to add a Custom JS/HTML element to your page.
Prior to getting started, you will need to have the following:
Your Rootabl Tracking Code
Grab your Tracking Code
Navigate to the 'Integrations' step of your onboarding or click here
1. Open Your Funnel
Access the Funnels Page by hovering over the 'Click Funnels' drop-down menu from your dashboard and clicking on Funnels.
Choose the funnel you want to edit by clicking on the Funnel Name.
2. Select the desired funnel step
Select the funnel step (e.g., opt‑in or Thank You) you want to edit.
3. Edit this Page
Click on the Edit Page button of your funnel page to access the Page Editor .
4. Add an Element
Navigate to Elements and click on Add Element.
In the editor, click Elements → Add Element (or hover any element and click the + icon).
5. Add the 'Custom JS/HTML' element
Scroll to Misc Elements → Custom JS/HTML, then click it (or drag it) onto the page where you want it to live.
6. Edit the Element
Hover the new element → click the gear icon (Settings) → click Open Code Editor.
Click on the Open Code Editor button to add your JS/HTML code.
7. Paste your Rootabl code
Paste your code in the Custom Javascript / HTML field and close the window
8. Choose 'Custom Code Type'
A) Regular HTML/JS Code - Use the HTML and JavaScript that you write inside of the custom code editor.
B) 3rd Party Embed Code - Use this option when you are using a 3rd party widget that is printed to the page.
9. Save & Publish
Close the code editor, Save the page, and Publish (if applicable).
10. Repeat for other steps where you need Rootabl to run
