How to check which version of Roots you're on

Updated this week

Knowing your app version helps us troubleshoot issues more effectively and ensures you have access to the latest features.

To find your Roots app version:

  • Go to "Roots > Profile > Account Settings" (top of the screen)

  • Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page

  • You'll see your app version number displayed there

Why checking your version matters:

Some features are only available in newer versions. For example:

  • Version 2.11.1 and later includes the ability to permanently disable "Emergency Unblock" refills

  • Version 2.14 and later includes improvements to "Streak" tracking

Updating to the latest version:

If you need to update Roots:

  • Open the App Store

  • Search for "Roots"

  • If an update is available, tap "Update"

We recommend staying on the latest version to get the best experience and access to all features.
