If you're seeing a black screen with just a small square after tapping "Get Started" on the welcome screen (see image below), this is a known issue we're actively investigating so we can fix this properly.
In the meantime, we'd like to invite you to the test version of Roots which resolves this issue.
What to do
Please reach out to us directly by tapping on the chat bubble below with your Apple ID email and we'll send you an invite right away.
Once you receive the invite, here's how to get set up:
Look out for an email from TestFlight with the subject: "Roots: Screen Time Control for iOS is now available to test"
Download the TestFlight app from the App Store
Open the email and accept the invitation
You'll be redirected to the Roots test version
Download the app
Open it and check if you're able to get past the first page
