Managing your entry process using Rosy

The sale entry and attendance process is top of mind for people using Rosy. The experience is meant to be an enjoyable one for everyone involved. In order to achieve the best possible outcome and to leverage Rosy’s full potential, we’ve developed this entry guide—it provides an overview of Rosy’s entry process, what to expect, and helpful tips.

Entry preparation & things to expect heading into your sale

Know how to access your shopper list

To access the shopper list in your dashboard, click the sale you’ll be hosting. In the sale details, you’ll find the list and number of shoppers—click “open list” to view the full list (this is also the view you’ll use to check people in during sale entry). - See entry process in part two for more details.

You can also print the list by clicking the print icon. Having a hardcopy can be helpful as a backup if the digital list isn’t accessible due to service or connection issues, but we recommend using the digital one whenever possible.

Quick Tip:

Ahead of your sale, log in to your dashboard (app.gorosy.co) on the device(s) you want to use at your sale.

People might not have their confirmation # or entry pass

On the morning of the sale, people might not have their confirmation email or entry pass. This isn’t a huge deal, but you’ll want to know how to handle it. To verify who they are, we recommend asking them for their full name while attempting to locate it on your master list.

With change can come frustration

For sale attendees, this is likely an entirely new experience.

Here are some helpful thoughts and responses:

"You were able to sign up online and avoid the hassle of getting here early"

"It’s a new system and your experience is top of mind—the process will continue to evolve and your feedback is appreciated”

"Numbers are distributed in a fair way based on the order in which people sign up"

"Everyone signs up the same way at the same time, and the numbers are generated based on timing"

"You can leave feedback for the Rosy team on their website (gorosy.co). They are always working to improve the process for everyone."

The entry process

Our three-step
 entry process

Step 1.

Prepare for check-in and entry by having the list accessible on your device

Using a tablet or mobile device, log in to your dashboard and click on the sale you are hosting. In the "Entry & Attendance" tab, locate and click the button that says “open list”. This will open a new window with your full lists and includes all the people who signed up online (and possible guests), their name, and line number.

Step 2.

Organize your customers with a brief announcement prior to opening

Let people know that the entry process will start soon and that they’ll need to have their entry pass available (on their phone or as a print out). Have them form a line and organize themselves based on their number.

Note: If someone who signed up online doesn’t have their line number, you can simply ask them to provide their name and confirm their position using your list.

Step 3.

Initiate check-in using our recommended process

Once people are lined-up, quickly walk down the line and confirm their name/number and tap check-in on your list. Again, if a person doesn’t have their confirmation available, simply ask for their name and locate them on your list to check in. Once everyone with a number is lined up and checked in, you should be ready to open the doors.

Alternatively, you can check people in as they enter the property. Once you open the sale have people show their line number (confirmation) to enter, clicking check-in on your list to confirm their info as you run through the list.

Note: this alternate process could lead to a delay or bottleneck during entry if there is any confusion or conflict with a persons number.

Enjoy the sale and best of luck!
