About live tracking

There are two ways to track your drivers' delivery progress:

  1. If they're using Routific Driver Lite in their mobile browser, your view will update every time they mark a stop as completed or skipped.

  2. If they're using the Routific Driver mobile app, you''l also see their GPS location live in your map view.

Live tracking step by step

If you've planned and dispatched routes in advance, you'll see a countdown timer at the top left of your screen showing when Live Tracking will start.

When it's time for your drivers to hit the road, you'll see start to live status updates.

  • The vertical blue line shows the current time. It will move to the right along the timeline as the day passes.

  • Green boxes show completed stops. These appear when your driver has marked a stop as complete in their mobile app.

  • Red boxes show incomplete stops. These appear when your driver has marked a stop as skipped in their mobile app.

  • Yellow boxes show late stops. These appear when your driver has marked a stop as complete in their app, but it happened later than the estimated time.

How to make changes

Switch from "Live" to "Plan" mode to make changes after dispatch.

When you're done, click "Publish Changes". The app will switch back to Live mode.

The route will automatically update for your drivers, live in their app.

How to reschedule a skipped stop

If a driver skips a stop and you need to reschedule it later in the day, just click the missed stop to bring up its details, and click "Reschedule" in blue at the bottom.

This creates a duplicate, unscheduled stop which you can drag and drop onto any route.

Remember to publish the changes so your driver can see their newly updated route!

Enabling location services

If live tracking isn't working, check to make sure that your drivers have enabled location services for Routific on their phones.
