Routific has two mobile apps for drivers: Routific Driver and Routific Driver Lite.

Both apps are free, and included in your monthly subscription at no extra charge.

Let's walk you through how to use each app below:

Dispatch Routes to Drivers' Phones via SMS

When a dispatcher publishes routes in the Routific's Dispatcher View, those routes are automatically dispatched to the drivers via SMS text message.

Whether you're using Routific Driver or Routific Driver Lite, your drivers will always receive their route via SMS text message.

Drivers open routes by clicking the link provided.

If you've opted into Routific Driver:

The routes will open automatically in the Routific Driver app installed on your mobile device. If you haven't downloaded the app yet, the link will redirect you to the App Store or the Google Play Store.

If you've opted into Routific Driver Lite:

The routes will open automatically in Routific Driver Lite. The app opens directly in your phone's web browser. No download is required.

How to Navigate Routific Driver

Routific Driver has two main views:

Map: A map view of the selected route. Drivers can follow routes and mark delivery progress in this view.

To see this view: Click the icon with the three map pointers.

Stop List: A list view of the selected route. Drivers can click on each stop, and mark delivery progress in this view.

To see this view: Click the icon with the three bullet points.

Drivers can do delivery stops out of order if they need to but if you have Customer Notifications enabled, you cannot do your delivery stops out of order.

What Drivers Can Do on Routific Driver

Complete - Mark a stop as complete.

If you are on a Professional Plan, you will have access to Live Tracking which has the following capabilities:

  • Notes: Your driver will have the option of leaving notes for the route planner or dispatcher. Those notes are entered into the mobile app, and then relayed back to the Routific's Dispatcher View.

  • Proof-of-delivery: Drivers have the option of taking one photo or collecting a signature as proof of delivery. Photos and signatures will be relayed back to the Routific's Dispatcher View for the route planner/dispatcher to see.

Skip - Mark a stop as skipped. Provide a reason for skipping, and driver can add additional notes.

Directions - Get turn-by-turn directions in an application of your choosing. Choose from Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Waze. Click the icon with the blue arrow.

How to Navigate Routific Driver Lite

Routific Driver Lite has 3 sections:

Routes: A list of routes dispatched to the driver. Select a route on this list to view it in "map" and "stop list" view. Switch between routes by selecting another route.

Map: A map view of the selected route. Drivers can follow routes and mark delivery progress in this view.

Stop List: A list view of the selected route. Drivers can also follow routes and mark delivery progress in this view.

Once again, drivers can do delivery stops out of order if they need to but if you have Customer Notifications enabled, you cannot do your delivery stops out of order.
