How to Verify MAS Trip Integration and Configure Time Import Settings in Founders Software
MAS integration in Founders Software streamlines trip scheduling and ensures accurate time management. This guide explains how to verify if a trip is connected to the MAS integration and outlines the available settings for importing times from MAS into RoutingBox.
Verifying MAS Trip Integration
To confirm that an imported trip is connected to the MAS integration:
Open the trip’s Audit Trail.
Locate the “Create” item for “Trip.”
Select this item and review the details on the right-hand side.
Check for the field labeled TripIntegrationID: - If this field is present and its value is set to 6, the trip is connected to the MAS integration. - If the field is missing, the trip is not connected to the MAS integration.
Configuring Time Import Settings from MAS
Founders Software offers three integration options for importing times from MAS into RoutingBox. This setting can be configured by RoutingBox Support. These settings determine how pickup and drop-off times are calculated:
Pull in Pickup Time: RoutingBox calculates the drop-off time based on the imported pickup time.
Pull in Appointment Time: RoutingBox calculates the pickup time based on the imported appointment time.
Pull in Both MAS Times: Both pickup and drop-off times are imported directly from MAS, ensuring that RoutingBox mirrors the MAS schedule. This option avoids relying on calculated times within RoutingBox.
Best Practices for Managing Trip Scheduling
Choose the time import setting that best aligns with your operational needs to minimize scheduling conflicts.
Use the "Pull in Both MAS Times" option if you prefer to avoid calculated times and maintain consistency with MAS.
When MAS data doesn't appear in RoutingBox
Trip changes coming from MAS's side do not sync to RoutingBox in real time. Changes made on the MAS side typically take up to 15–30 minutes to reflect in RoutingBox on the day of a trip. If a trip or rate update isn't showing after that window, the steps below can help identify where the issue lies.
Contact MAS when:
A trip is visible in the MAS portal but hasn't imported into RoutingBox after 30+ minutes
A rate or authorization update was made in MAS but isn't reflected in RoutingBox
A trip approval or status change in MAS isn't syncing across
You're seeing data mismatches where MAS shows different information than RoutingBox
For MAS support, submit a ticket through the MAS Provider Portal or contact your MAS representative directly.
Contact RoutingBox Support when:
Trips that were previously importing have stopped importing entirely
The MAS integration connection appears broken (new trips from MAS are not arriving at all)
You're unsure whether the issue is on the MAS side or the RoutingBox side
If you're unsure which side to contact, start with RoutingBox Support via live chat — we can review the integration connection and help determine whether the issue needs to be escalated to MAS.
By following these steps and best practices, you can effectively manage trip scheduling and overlapping times using MAS integration in Founders Software.
